I started Tonight From Scratch because I got tired of dinner feeling like a chore. Every recipe here is something I'd actually make on a Tuesday night.
My Story
I've always loved cooking, but for years I told myself I didn't have time for it. After a long day, the idea of making something from scratch felt overwhelming. So I defaulted to takeout, or sad desk lunches, or whatever was easiest.
Then one weekend I made a big pot of soup and realized how good it felt. Not just to eat it, but to make it. There's something grounding about chopping vegetables and stirring a pot. I wanted more of that in my life.
Tonight From Scratch is where I share everything I've learned since then. Every recipe is tested in my own kitchen, written so a busy person can follow it, and designed to taste like you spent way more time than you actually did. No fancy equipment. No obscure ingredients. Just good food, made at home.
